Even though I’ve been in London for one and a half months now, it was only when my family visited that it felt complete. It was such a relief to see my mom after suffering such a long absence. Our reunion was pure bliss, and seeing one of my twins after so long made me feel at home.
It was a wonderful week spent with family, including my aunts and cousins (2 of them). We were 11 people in our party, and oh boy, we were lowed! It was a busy week with lots of activities, but we had an afternoon free on Thursday. Since my mom and sister are Bridgerton fans, we decided to attend the afternoon tea at The Lanesborough Hotel in the city.
The experience was phenomenal! We were welcomed with a smile by the stuff and were allowed to arrive half an hour early to change our clothes for the special occasion. I decided to book Jordan for another photoshoot after the success we had before, but this time wanted to share it with my family. We all dressed up, and immediately I was transported to the Regency era. The sandwiches and chocolates were delicious and the tea was sweet and aromatic.
At first my mom felt a little bit awkward but then we all enjoyed ourselves, laughed and ate and it seemed that it felt natural for her to be photographed. I was glad that we took these pictures because we got to capture these beautiful moments and to look back and remember them.
